Spell Construction is currently interested in qualified applicants for the following:
Construction Superintendent: Must be experienced in commercial building supervision. Qualified individual should be able to coordinate and supervise all construction activities, direct field personnel, perform quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specification, adhere to schedules, identify and solve all construction issues during the building process and be proficient with computers for project reporting. Organization, communication, and strong interpersonal skills are required to succeed in this position. Travel will be required – States we build in are NC, SC, VA, GA, & TN.
Estimator: Estimators review project documents and work with subcontractors and suppliers to develop accurate projections of project costs, including materials, manpower and equipment. Qualifications include the ability to read construction drawings and interpret project specifications. A bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, engineering or a related field is ideal, with 5-7 years experience in commercial construction, preferably in the southeast. Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, knowledge of Timberline software preferred. Must be able to present estimates/budgets in a clear, concise and professional manner.
